Turbeau Pre-Release
Today, I'm excited to share a free pre-release version of our latest typeface, Turbeau, with Gold members.
Years (decades?) ago, I remember seeing the end credits on one of my favorite shows from the 1980s, Knight Rider, and was immediately struck by the typeface. More recently, I realized it might be the same font that adorns the control panel my beloved Sequential OB-6 synth (It may very well be Handel Gothic). I set out to create something fresh with those inspirations in mind: A curvy, retro-futuristic, all-caps display that gets funky at heavier weights—with some worm-y alternates.
Turbeau comes in 3 weights: Regular, Semibold, and Bold. And we just had to make Oblique versions of those weights for maximum forward drive.
Gold members can download the fonts (free!) below and use however they'd like. If there's something amiss, be sure to let me know so we can button it all up for an official release in the near future.
