We very much like to avoid legalspeak whenever possible, and believe a font license should be simple and easy to understand. Here’s what you agree to when purchasing fonts from SimpleBits® LLC.
1. Purchase the appropriate license
Simple licensing with just two options based on your company size:
- STANDARD → For solo folks and companies up to 20 employees
- DELUXE → For companies with more than 20 employees
2. Usage
All licenses are good for any personal and commercial work! You may install your fonts on up to 3 computers (yours and/or your colleagues).
4. Webfont usage
Use on multiple websites with unlimited pageviews for sites that are owned or controlled by the licensee.
4. App usage
Embedding the font in 1 app is allowed. Need it in a second app? Just purchase an additional license.
5. Don’t distribute the font
So that other people could download the font for free.
6. Modification
Modifying the font for your own use is totally fine. Just don’t redistribute your modified font to anyone.
7. Use at your own risk
SimpleBits® isn’t responsible for any damages caused by installing our fonts.
8. Be kind and wash your hands
We added this during the pandemic, but it really should apply always, so we’ll keep it.
