Beeswacks Pre-Release

Today, I'm excited to share the pre-release of Beeswacks (our latest typeface) with Secret Club members.

Beeswacks is a sans-serif display font inspired by some vintage lettering found on a wax candle company's packaging. It's intentionally imperfect and quirky with an inky, rounded-but-angular character. Looks great in all-caps, but we also added lowercase to match the limited set found on the candle box. Imagining what a full alphabet becomes from a handful of letters is one of my favorite type design tasks—this was a fun one!

Beeswacks comes in one weight, but has robust extended language support, extra glyphs, a cool hex nut icon, and script-y ligatures (and, of, in, for, the) for creating effortless little phrases and vintage sign lockups.

Secret Club members can download the font (free!) below and use however they'd like. If there's something amiss, be sure to let me know so we can button it all up for an official release in the near future.
