It turns out that sriracha makes for great liquid typography. Even going so far as a font created from artistically-drawn splatters of the delicious, spicy, chili sauce.

Stumbled on this interview with Shepard Fairey about his five favorite vinyl records—aptly published by Victrola, legends of the turntable. Hard to argue with any of his picks, and lots of head-nodding along to his thoughts on why vinyl still matters. My top 5? Difficult to commit, but keeping in mind vinyl releases I actually own, it would no doubt include: Sgt. Pepper, The Police's Zenyatta Mondatta, Getz/Gilberto, ABBA Gold, The Best of Bread, Galactic Melt by Com Truise, Crack-Up by Fleet Foxes, Pet Sounds, Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys, Holiday Sing-Along with Mitch Miller...that's 5, right?

Part parkour, part interpretive dance, part optical illusion—whatever it is, Matt McCreary's movement videos are mesmerizing.

The acting was great and the aesthetic of the film felt authentic (aesthentic? austhetic?) but don't sit down and watch Saturday Night if you're trying to relax. A frantic, unrelenting pace was probably historically accurate for the 90 minutes leading up to Saturday Night Live's first even episode in 1975, but it requires the right mental state to enjoy that. It was also distracting trying to figure out which celebrity was played by whom, lots of IMDB-checking while watching. It was...okay. ★★½
What are you working on?
I think/hope that Spagetty will be released over the next week or so. Secret Type Club folks have been kicking the tires. I'm excited about this one and some unimportant little merch items that'll follow.
