It could be a photo of a digital camera, of a photo of a digital camera and so on?
I remember seeing a similar thing done with cats looking at computer screens, of more cats looking at computer screens. To get onto the site, your cat had to be looking at the last cat posted on the site (which in turn was looking at the previous last cat) an so forth. Theoretically, youd end up with a single cat photo, indirectly looking onto every other cat posted on the site ;)
After all, we all love kitties right?
:D
The only clue I’ve found is in the “alt” tag for the image. It states “The Recursion Project”. There is a reference on Stopdesign at the very bottom of the page.
Still have no clue what it is though.
Damn… They just wanted to see whether we – the users – would click like jerks on the pics. In the meantime Dan and his friends were laughing while looking at the referrers list. Something like ping-back thingie. Am I right? :D

So you guys sat in a circle at the UI9 conference and made a circular photo of your cameras and then posted them in that order on your blogs?
Cool.

Escher Bach Godel!
Picture of a picture of a picture of a picture…??
My guess is that they are each taking pictures of the linked person’s digital camera display, which takes you in a circle of those people. Am I right?
I want to play! Let me play Dan…
Not unlike Memento.
The Infinite Cat project is cute. :)
