“Long time ago me and my brother Kyle here,
we was hitchhikin’ down a long and lonesome road.
All of a sudden, there shined a shiny demon… in the middle… of the road. And he said: ‘Play the best song in the world, or I’ll eat your soul.’ Well me and Kyle, we looked at each other,
and we each said… ‘Okay.’” — Tenacious D

I cannot get that song out of my head. The plot of the song is pure comic genius. A demon forces you to play the best song in the world or he’ll eat your soul. So you do. But then you forget how it goes. So you write a tribute song to the greatest song in the world. Makes perfect sense.
