The Olympics happen so infrequently, that I always forget how entertaining they are. Been watching a lot. Ski jumping is just insane to me. How do you learn how to do that? How do you start??
While flipping through Wired, I saw an ad for a new web design/development magazine — eDesign. Looks promising, although it’s a really bad time to be starting a new magazine.

You gotta wonder what the story is behind that one.
The new iMac seems to have some problems.

Bill Simmons really nailed the New England Sports Fan thing in this piece over at espn.com. And yes, I still can’t believe the Patriots won the Super Bowl.
I was able to take a look at the O’Reilly Mac OS X book at work today. Looks pretty great, and even covers 10.1. Such a big book, and so quick. Impressive.

I’ve never seen so many people in downtown Boston at one time. It was damn cold out and there were 1 million+ there, but I was able to stand a few hours of cold to watch the Patriots victory parade today. People in trees, on street signs — it was mayhem. Turns out the parade didn’t even come near where I was standing, so I only got to see the enormous crowd. Oh well.

Don’t call it a comeback. I simply cannot believe the Patriots are Super Bowl champions. The best ending to a game ever. I’m an instant fan again… I think I may even try to catch some of the parade tomorrow.
In the absence of AdCritic, iFilm is posting a Super Bowl ad archive. Not as many hilarious ones as years past, but my favorite would have to be the “How You Doin’” Bud commercial.

While stocking up for the game tomorrow (Go Pats), a guy was giving free samples of a new light beer. “Hey do you guys want some beer?” Seemed like a dumb question in front of the beer case at the liquor store. It was pretty darn good. So much so that I bought a six pack. Edison beer.
Hey, thanks to Zeldman for the mention of cederholm.tv. You should read his site regularly. He’s knows his stuff.
I cannot wait to see the outcome of tomorrow’s game…
