Russell Stover chocolate assortments are excellent. A tip for you though — make sure you don’t have the box upside down when you’re trying to read the “legend of flavors”. Maple Nut Cream is actually Fruit and Nut Cluster. What a disaster…

I just finished Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil — a true story about the bizarre and fascinating characters in Savannah, Georgia. The author spent 8 years commuting from NYC to write the book, and happened to stumble upon a murder mystery (among countless other crazy people and stories) as it unfolded in front of him. I visited Savannah last summer, and found it to be a strange, eerie, yet interesting city. There’s just something a little different with everything down there. Worth the trip for sure.
The movie version of the book was ok. Kevin Spacey and John Cusack were dead on as the main characters.

New PowerMacs were released by Apple today. They finally broke the 1ghz barrier. I’m glad the changes in the low-end models were subtle. The one thing I’ll never get over about buying a computer – it’s always one-upped within a month. I think I can feel ok … at least till the next MacWorld…
The Patriots will announce the starting QBack for the Super Bowl on Wednesday. What a decision… Do you go with the guy that’s brought them there the whole year — or do you go with the Pro Bowler that you’re spending 100+ million on?

Home-grown DVD commentaries? Sounds like a promising idea (over at Evhead).

Palm released their new wireless PDA, the i705. Looks pretty damn cool. I simply cannot wait till these things are damn cheap, and the service is free. Ahh…

Many people doubted it, but in a very “in your face” way, the Patriots are Super Bowl bound. Woo hoo. It’s amazing that Bledsoe came in and delivered after so long on the bench. I’m damn happy.
Tenacious D. Hilarious stuff.

While watching The Muppet Movie with my nephew today, I realized that Jim Henson was an amazing genius. This movie was hilarious and very well done. Not to mention the all-star cast. Muppets rule… For instance, the guy that throws fish boomerangs (Lew Zealand)?! Pure genius. I could go on about the Muppet Show as well.
Oh, this Muppet Movie site sucks.

Found this page at Apple regarding the myths surrounding the Mac.
Last night two things happened: 1) I discovered we get The Western Channel and 2) I finally saw Shanghai Noon. Now, I’m not a huge Jackie Chan fan, but I AM becoming a huge Owen Wilson fan. He’s hilarious in this one. All in all, a very entertaining movie. I was surprise at how bad it wasn’t.

I’m not sure what motivates me to spend so much time on this site, but I’ve added a customize feature (also a tab in the nav above). Feel free to choose your own color scheme, font style and font size. It’ll remember your preferences when you come back through the magic of harmless cookies. Let me know if you have any issues with it.
I should go do something else now…

Saw The Shipping News a few nights ago. The book ( A Pulitzer Prize winner) was incredible, and the movie was pretty good. Not amazing, but they nailed a lot of the good points in the book.
Been trying to make the new G4 share internet with the old PC. Not going so well. I don’t think the extra network card I had lying around works with OSX. A trip to CompUSA tomorrow should remedy all of this.
35 minutes till kickoff — Patriots vs. Raiders. Such a huge game. It’s snowing (here in Salem anyway), and it must be 20 degrees out. Cool.
