The Patriot. A horrible film. I’m sure it’s been said before, but this is basically Braveheart set during the American Revolution. The excessive violence is pretty humorous at times (ie, a cannonball taking the head off of 2 red coats … c’mon).
Cast Away. I’m not quite sure why this movie is getting a lot of negative reviews. I thought it was excellent, and realistic (for the most part). One of my Christmas gifts turned out to be an extremely cool game. Also, check out 3BP for funny stuff.
I’m not a huge fan, but seeing the preview of the Lord of the Rings movie is pretty damn cool. Oh yeah, and have you checked this out? It’s amazing! I can’t believe they had my baby picture.
Iraq is stockpiling Playstation 2s. Heh heh…
Quite possibly the best beer I’ve had. (Triple Reserve)
Couple funny commercials: this one was sort of like the end of the Sixth Sense, when you realize… well I won’t give it away, but it has a twist. Oh, and it’s hillarious. And this one has had me cracking up for weeks.
So, I get home from work yesterday and there’s a box from Amazon.com on my back porch. What was inside? Quite possibly the best Christmas gift I’ve ever received.
In case you were wondering, a Fleet bank card can withstand A) Bright colors cycle in a washing machine, and B) Close contact with a hairdryer. After making your way through steps A and B (preferrably in that order), it should still work like a charm.
Wow, it’s been 20 years since John Lennon was murdered. Ever wonder what he’d have been up to these days?
