Been listening a lot to Tahiti 80 this week. Catchy, French pop. Reminds me a lot of Zumpano, and Eric Matthews plays trumpet on the record. See them live if you can.

If there’s one movie I’m looking forward to more this year, it’s Best in Show — the mockumentary about the dog show world. From the same people that brought you Spinal Tap and Waiting for Guffman (classic stuff). By the looks of the outtakes on the site, this one looks just as good.

This is very frightening. I don’t know what to think of it — if it’s true, than god help us, and if it’s not true then well bravo to a hoax pulled off with extreme detail!

A little stroll down memory lane led me to the official Rubik’s site. I solved the Rubik’s cube once — by taking it apart with a hammer and putting it back together. This site is pretty entertaining, and the Java version is pretty cool. They even sell the old-school keychain version.

I really need to learn Flash. Every time I see a cool site (that’s well done), I get motivated to start to learn it. This guy has a pretty nice interface, and best of all, he has some resources you can download and implement them on your own site. Titoonic looks cool too, especially the inconspicuous Tetris game built into the main page.

Is it just me, or is it getting harder to tell real news and the Onion apart?
