Why is 7up SO much better than Sprite — yet I can never find it anywhere? Damn.

Been listening a lot to Tahiti 80 this week. Catchy, French pop. Reminds me a lot of Zumpano, and Eric Matthews plays trumpet on the record. See them live if you can.
If there’s one movie I’m looking forward to more this year, it’s Best in Show — the mockumentary about the dog show world. From the same people that brought you Spinal Tap and Waiting for Guffman (classic stuff). By the looks of the outtakes on the site, this one looks just as good.
This is very frightening. I don’t know what to think of it — if it’s true, than god help us, and if it’s not true then well bravo to a hoax pulled off with extreme detail!
Feels good to be centered. Wow, imagine being so fed up with someone, that you jump off a cruise ship and go home. Oh, and you’re also 73. [via the obscure store]
I made this site in 5 minutes. No, really…. umm, I did. Thanks to Mike for the link.
A little stroll down memory lane led me to the official Rubik’s site. I solved the Rubik’s cube once — by taking it apart with a hammer and putting it back together. This site is pretty entertaining, and the Java version is pretty cool. They even sell the old-school keychain version.
Saw this over at /. today — but certainly worth repeating. This insanely resourceful guy built himself a handheld Atari 2600, complete with an active TFT screen, built-in controls and best of all — classic wood grain trim. Damn, I want one.
Never have I seen a more ridiculous, yet entertaining show. BattleBots is insanely great. I’m thinking of entering — only I have no desire to build a robot.
My new favorite marketing slogan: “Iceland. Not just a big block of ice.”
I really need to learn Flash. Every time I see a cool site (that’s well done), I get motivated to start to learn it. This guy has a pretty nice interface, and best of all, he has some resources you can download and implement them on your own site. Titoonic looks cool too, especially the inconspicuous Tetris game built into the main page.
Is it just me, or is it getting harder to tell real news and the Onion apart?
